Did
this one in the car waiting. The idea was to get
away from the computer, once again, and the inspiration
was a Stellar's Jay outside my window. That's
a big frickin' blue jay with a crown of fancy
feathers for you Easterners. The Jahawks put out
a late-in-the-career save with the 'Save it For
A Rainy Day' release after a bit of a slide. They
were in top form live, and so were the Sadies
(from Canada) who play quite a heady brew of Spaghetti-Western-Byrdsian
Psych Rock. A great bill, and Gary Louris was
cool. |
